From a bizarre, almost silly mustache-band of three Belgians acting brazilian and calling themselves the "Two Man Sound" came the underground disco anthem "Que Tal America".
There are a few versions of this song in various vinyl formats—the nine and a half minute keyboard-laden LP cut, the american disco twelve inch version with the added drum break and rapping, the canadian dub, the house remix I heard in Chelsea Markets last weekend, etc. All built of off one of the sickest basslines in disco histo.
In my edit, I chop, loop, filter, eq, and blend bits together to give it a more twentyfirst century feel while maintaining the rock on the 21st century disco dance floor.
